Oscar's Story

Oscar's nickname here at GLRS is "Handsome," because isn't he just?
Oscar is a Continental Giant who arrived here with his four friends from a hoarding situation. It's taken him a while to learn to trust, and he can still be a bit nervous with handling, but he's learning to enjoy gentle pets. He loves treats, and as soon as he hears food coming, he's up and begging with the sweetest sniffs and the biggest, softest paws you've ever seen. Oscar is a gentle giant, who would love a quiet home to relax and stretch out in, with an adopter who understands he needs time and kindness to recover. We think that with the right person, this sweet boy would blossom into the sweet, curious bunny he was always meant to be!

Because of their extremely large size, Continental Giants have special care needs and their own specialized adoption application. If you are interested in Oscar, please reach out to us at adoptions@rabbitsanctuary.org, and ask for information about our giants.
