Our adoption policy for domestic rabbits are designed to ensure that every animal is placed in a safe, stable, and well‑prepared home. Potential adopters begin by completing an application that gathers information about their experience with rabbits, household environment, and long‑term expectations. We require adopters to be at least 18 years old and to demonstrate the ability to provide proper housing, nutrition, and veterinary care. Because rabbits are social, sensitive animals, adopters are often asked about daily routines, available space, and plans for enrichment. We require indoor‑only housing to protect rabbits from predators, extreme temperatures, and outdoor hazards. If adopters already have rabbits, a meet‑and‑greet or bonding session will be required to ensure compatibility. All adopters must agree to provide ongoing medical care, including access to a rabbit‑savvy vet.
