Nori's Story

Tell us about the day you were rescued.

Well, I don't really know how I ended up outside or for how long I was there, but it definitely was not a great time for me. I used to hop around outside a residence hall of a nearby university. It was summer so not many students were around, and actually it was quite lonely. There was a huge dumpster outside one of the buildings that I used to hide from predators and protect myself during bad weather. I was lucky to have it to hide under when I felt scared. There was one scary time I encountered a predator, and I barely escaped him. I got away but he bit my ear. You can still see the marks on my ear.

One Saturday morning I saw these two ladies walking and looking around the dumpster. They saw me and became intent on pursing me. I got a little scared and hid under the dumpster. I was also curious as to what they wanted. They had a yummy banana with them and I couldn't resist. I was so hungry. I slowly came out from under the dumpster. I just wanted a little nibble of that banana - it smelled so good! I came out just for one, quick bite and suddenly, I was surrounded by a fence and picked up and put into a carrier. It all happened so fast! I was nervous about where I was headed to.

I went to a home with a room with toys, a litter box, a hidey box and fresh greens and treats everyday. After a day or two I started to like it and feel so calm and happy. It made me want to binky all the time. I found myself doing flops and running to the door to see whoever was coming to visit or feed me. I find myself doing zoomies everyday because I feel safe and comfortable. I hope to find a forever home where I live the same kind of life. I wouldn't mind sharing a home with a bun friend where we can be hop up on the sofa and spend evenings binge watching our favorite shows.

Nori is spayed and vaccinated for RHDV2 and ready to find her forever home.

You may complete an application to adopt using this link: https://secure.lglforms.com/form_engine/s/Jw0LL5dcHdla3U0Jn2b9jw
