Nettle

Meet Nettle: The Brave Little Rabbit with a Heart of Gold!

Nettle is a 3-year-old courageous bunny who has more stories in her tiny heart than you can imagine! Nettle came to us when another shelter asked if we could take her in. Many local shelters are overflowing with rabbits that need adopting. This brave little girl was once left to fend for herself in the great outdoors, facing the wild with nothing but her wits and a sprinkle of hope. But fate intervened in the form of a kind Good Samaritan, who whisked her away from that harsh life and brought her to safety.

With a charming quirk — a little tear in her ear that tells tales of her previous, not-so-great existence — Nettle is now ready to hop into a brighter future. It’s a reminder of the battlefield she bravely survived, but it hasn’t dimmed her spirit! Instead, she’s using those experiences to inspire her journey of healing and growth, one juicy Cucumber at a time.

Despite her rough past, Nettle has shown us that love and friendship can mend even the deepest scars.
Help us continue to ease Nettle’s past scars as she hops her way into a forever home filled with love, kindness, and endless treats. If you have space in your heart for a brave bunny like Nettle, then come meet this incredible sweetheart today!

Nettle has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $50 + tax.

HOW TO APPLY?

If you would like to meet Nettle , please submit an inquiry from Petfinder by clicking "Start your inquiry" on this page.

Or reach out directly via email to: animal.shelter@vancouver.ca

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
All rabbits at Animal Services have veterinary health checks, and are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and defleaed (if necessary) before going to their new homes.
Adoption Fee: $50

For more information on our adoption process, go to vancouver.ca/adopt
