Nessa: featured pet!!'s Story

**I have been waiting for a home since December of 2024*?<br/><br/>**This bunny is fully vaccinated for RHDV*<br/><br/>*Nessa is one of our featured pets, so her adoption fee has been sponsored!**<br/><br/>**I am in foster in Niles, OH**<br/><br/>Breed: Lionhead<br/>Size: About 3 lbs<br/>DOB: About 10-12 months as of December 2024<br/>Reason in rescue: This girl was surrendered after she was left with someone else who didn’t want her. She came here in a tiny wire cage, eating guinea pig food :(<br/>Personality: This poor girl was clearly never treated well. She’s very curious and comes running up to the front of the cage to see you but she is scared of hands. She will run when you reach for her and in the beginning she would try and bite in fear. She has been getting steadily better and is learning to love petting and will hunker down for a good face rub. She would do best in a quieter home with no small children and maybe another bunny to bond to to gain confidence! She is good with her litter box.<br/>Friends: She is a good candidate to be bonded to a neutered male<br/>Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2' for a single, 4 x 4 for a pair). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption (but can be waived if pictures or video are supplied of where the bunny will be living). Suggested adoption donation is $100 which includes her spay, vaccine, and microchip.

Judge's Park's Adoption Policy
**Please scroll down on any animal you are interested in and read their profile thoroughly. It tells all relevant information on the animal and also how you can begin the adoption process!** If interested in adopting an animal from Judge's Park, you must first fill out our adoption application at https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Once we get that completed and sent to us we can set up a visit to see the animal you are interested in. We cannot set up visits before we receive the application. Judge's Park does not have open hours and animals are visited by appointment only. No exceptions! Rabbits and cats require a home visit prior to adoption. We may or may not ask you of a picture of your cage and set up if adopting another type of animal. We have the right to refuse adoption to ANYONE. Adoption appointments, surrenders, or other visits are at the time scheduled. Not before and not after. If you arrive early, we ask that you wait in your car until your appointment time. If you will be over 30 minutes late, we ask that you reschedule for another day. We cannot schedule appointments after 6:30 in the evening. No calls no shows will NOT be rescheduled. Please be respectful of the people who take their time to run this rescue and their personal time that could be spent with their families. We strive to adopt animals to the best home that we can find for them. Many of them have been neglected, abandoned, and abused, and we will not allow them to be returned to such an environment. If we do not think a home is suitable, we will not place an animal in that home. All of our animals are adopted out as indoors only! If we are able, the animal will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption (all cats and rabbits). No animal will ever be adopted out for breeding. If you do not live close to us and are interested in an animal, we do work with transports. Pictures and/or video in lieu of a home visit may be required. All questions can be directed to judges.park@yahoo.com
