Nemo's Story

is a lovable, frisky boy bunny who was found at Thompson Road Park in New Albany where Pepper was found. Thompson Park is FULL of kids playing soccer and football. He came right up to some of the children and played with them, so they took him home and contacted us to save his life. Keep in mind that this rabbit was LOOSE in a BIG park and still wanted HUMAN contact. He wasn't captured or chased, he came up to the kids and allowed them to pet and hold him. He loves to be held by kids and their loud noises don't bother him. We named him Nemo because one of his ears has been damaged from either an attack at the park or where he was kept previously. It is not disfigured by sight, but it droops down in a cute sort of way while his other ear is in normal position. He is OBVIOUSLY someone's previous pet who released him to the wild. Nemo currently lives with a HUGE yellow LAB (dog), 11 cats, and a rambunctious 11 year old boy who is loud and full of energy. He enjoys watching TV in the evening with the family and quiet mornings out on the back deck while he is watched carefully by his foster family. His litter box habits are impeccable and he rarely even leaves a stray pebble on the floor of his enclosure . His favorite snack is branches off our willow tree. He would love a good family and would be a great pet for someone with other pets or kids.
