Nadia's Story

Two sisters. Two best friends. One forever home.

Nadia and Novella are two adorable dwarf bunny sisters who have decided that life is better together.

Their story began before they were even born. Their pregnant mama was abandoned and left to fend for herself outside until compassionate CHRS volunteers rescued her. She gave birth to her litter safely in foster care, where Nadia, Novella, and their siblings grew up surrounded by love and care.

As they got older, each sibling began choosing their own path. Some decided they were ready to take on the world as single bunnies, while others found a buddy to share their adventures. Nadia and Novella? These two sisters looked at each other and apparently decided, “Nope. We're sticking together.” And we're very glad they did.

Nadia is the slightly smaller sister, with a silky all-black coat and an absolutely adorable little presence. Novella is a bit chubbier, with sweet brown speckles sprinkled throughout her coat and the most irresistible round cheeks.

Both girls love all the important things in life: playing, snoozing, eating, and exploring. Novella tends to be the adventurous one who leads the charge, happily checking out what's around the next corner. But don't let her bossy-sister energy fool you—when mealtime arrives, Nadia has been known to take over and make it very clear who's really running the show.

These girls are wonderful examples of the special bond that can sometimes grow between bunny siblings. They enjoy doing everything together, from exploring their surroundings to settling down for a cozy snooze.

Nadia and Novella are looking for a forever home where they can continue their adventures side by side. Two little sisters, one big friendship, and a lifetime of memories still to make.
