Mischka & Midnight's Story

WE ADOPT TO INDOOR HOMES ONLY. Your rabbit should be treated as an integral part of the family. With good care and lots of love, rabbits can live to be 7-10 years old and we expect you to make a lifetime commitment to your rabbit(s). The primary caregiver MUST be a responsible adult. The adoption fee is at the discretion of the owner.

Please contact Irina K at sleazy3weazy@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting! If you are unable to reach the owner, please email us at rabbitHavenWA@gmail.com.

NOTE: This is a courtesy posting by Rabbit Haven--this bunny is still with its owner, who is looking to re-home him/her. While we strive for all adoptable bunnies to go to safe and caring homes, we don't have the resources to meet with courtesy listing owners, their bunnies, and potential adopters.

***THE FOLLOWING INFO HAS BEEN PROVIDED BY THE BUNNIES CURRENT GAURDIAN***

Rabbit Name(s), Age(s), Sex, and Altered Status (spayed, neutered, intact): Snowball- 5 yrs. old, male, intact
Mischka ("Bear")- 5 yrs. old, female, intact
Thumper- 5 yrs. old, male, intact
Midnight- 3 yrs. old, female, intact

About the Rabbit(s): Snowball, Mischka, and Thumper grew up in the same litter and were raised together. Midnight was part of a separate litter. All the rabbits were fed a grain-based diet, along with dried fruits and fresh vegetable treats. All rabbits live outside, seperated.

Snowball is a foodie who loves to roam, sunbathe, and eat raspberries and all sorts of plants. He does not like sitting around—he is an explorer. He is a gentle, well-behaved rabbit who gets along well with other animals. He loves being petted and is a kind little man. He is a white rabbit, fluffy, a little chunky and has a red eyes.

Mischka is a fit, athletic rabbit. She prefers to be alone but is also curious. She is shy and loves to explore. Though skittish at first, she becomes friendly after spending some time with someone. She grew up around other animals as well. Mischka is gentle, enjoys being held when she feels comfortable, but could benefit from more handling. She has never bitten anyone. She is a all light grey rabbit, black eyes and is slim.

Thumper is a spunky, speedy little guy. He loves to wander, lounge around occasionally, and eat all sorts of plants. He doesn’t like sitting still for too long and isn’t much of a foodie. He handles well and is easy to hold, but he could use more handling as he is a little skittish. He is a tan little rabbit, black eyes and little chubby.

Midnight is a laid-back rabbit who loves to lounge around and soak up the sun. She enjoys all sorts of food. Despite growing up around other animals, she does not get along well with them. She is very cautious, protective, and can be aggressive, so she needs more handling. Possibly due to lack of socialization as she a loner from her own litter. Midnight is a chunky black rabbit.

Adoption Fee- $50 per rabbit
Any remaining rabbit food will be provided along with rabbiter waters and any remianing snacks for them.

Other Information: The rabbits were rescued from a neighbor who let their rabbits roam free after tiring of caring for them. It was unexpected for them to be taken in, but I felt guilty leaving them in that situation. Unfortunately, due to working two jobs, I do not have enough time to handle them while also giving them space to roam, other than limited time on the grass in the backyard. I like to keep an eye on them to ensure they are doing well and to protect them from the rain while they roam. I would love for them to live a fulfilling life with a loving family who can give them more attention than I am able to.

Rabbit Haven spays and neuters all of its bunnies before adopting out but is unable to do so for courtesy postings. We encourage all potential adopters to request a spay/neuter certificate from the current owner. Spaying/neutering not only prevents unwanted litters but is key for all bunnies--it facilitates litter box training and socialization, and helps lower the high risk of cancer in bunnies.

Please visit our website www.rabbithaven.org for information on adopting, re-homing and caring for rabbits.
