Midge and Middy's Story
Please check you junk/spam folder if you inquire about a rabbit and do not see a reply.

INDOOR ONLY HOMES, PLEASE

Midge is the female with the white blaze on her nose. She was rescued from an apartment complex in Orange County after a resident moved and released her.

Middy is a male with a tiny dot of white on his nose. He was rescued at about one month of age from Wilmington. His mom had given birth in the bushes by a church.

They were bonded and adopted out. Unfortunately, they were returned in the summer of 2024 through no fault of their own. They don't deserve this fate.

They are loveable rabbits clamouring for attention here at the rescue. Since they're both dutch rabbits, their good natures make them easy to love. Is there room in your home and heart for this precious pair?

Midge and Middy should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. They can have that as their home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it.

Rabbits are a 10+ year commitment.

Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbIt.

Midge and Middy can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information.

PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you’ve never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!

If you are seeking a rabbit as a companion for your existing rabbit, your rabbit should be spayed/neutered. Male/female bondings are usually recommended.

See the following link for more information: https://rabbit.org/care/bonding/

BENEFITS OF ADOPTION FROM KRIBS FOR KRITTERS RABBIT RESCUE:

* Lifetime free nail trims and scent gland cleaning
* Unparalleled rabbit education before you adopt
* Ongoing support after you adopt
* Starter hay and toys
* Reasonably priced boarding when you're on vacation

PLEASE WATCH TOP 10 MISTAKES RABBIT OWNERS MAKE! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6IlJTgsQrU

PLEASE WATCH TOP 10 REASONS NOT TO GET A BUNNY!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaoHFamRXYg

THE BIGGEST MISTAKES YOU CAN MAKE AS A RABBIT OWNER: https://www.thedodo.com/things-to-know-getting-rabbit-1340963451.html

A HUTCH IS NOT ENOUGH! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vvlb-prX4I

Kribs for Kritters Rabbit Rescue & Sanctuary

Find Kribs for Kritters on: https://www.facebook.com/kribsforkrittersofficial/

https://www.instagram.com/kribs_for_kritters/

Our founder is a ONE PERSON, uncompensated volunteer, grass roots, boots-on-the-ground rescuer who exclusively rescues domestic rabbits that have been cruelly abandoned at parks, golf courses, schools, fitness trails, and other outdoor locations.
