Mica's Story

Mica was born in rescue after his mother was found abandoned outside. He has always been the most adventurous and bold of his litter. Mica is confident, fearless, and high-energy. He is sure to keep his adopters on their toes. We think Mica would do best in an environment with plenty of space to run, play, and explore. Mica was also the most attached to his mom. He was very loyal and loving, so for that reason we think Mica would do really well with a bunny friend.

Mica does have megacolon, which is a genetic digestive condition that affects the function of a rabbit's gastrointestinal tract. Current state, Mica just has a special diet. As they age, bunnies with megacolon often suffer from occasional stasis episodes that must be managed with fluid therapy, medication, and recovery food. We will set Mica's adopter up for success with all the information they need to manage his condition.
