MERCUSE's Story
Mercuse (A139432) is a 16-week-old intact male rabbit who weighed 2.38 pounds on intake! 11/02/25 Our little friends Tibbel and Mercuse are back at the shelter due to no fault of their own! They have grown a little and are now partially litterbox trained! Just like before these boys need good husbandry to live longs lives so be sure to do your research on current rabbit care needs. They are not officially bonded as they are still intact but currently do have a milk bond so they may like to be neutered and bonded in the future! If you are interested in learning more about these boys please give us a call and schedule a visit! 08/28/25 This super cute little bun bun is Mercuse! Mercuse arrived at the shelter as a stray with his friend Tibbel. Both these boys are now looking for their new places to call home. If you are unfamiliar with rabbit care, we encourage you to do the research before adopting. Rabbits should have unlimited access to hay for their teeth and gi health, a measured amount of pellet food, and fresh greens daily. Providing them with appropriate chews is also important. Rabbits LOVE to chew, so you will want to make sure you rabbit-proof their enclosure before giving them free rein! Rabbits can also be litterbox trained and these boys are starting to figure out the litterbox. Tibbel can be a bit more reserved that Mercuse but they are both sweet bun buns! If you are interested in meeting Tibbel or Mercuse, please give us a call!
