Melissa's Story

Meet Melissa! Melissa is a very sweet Hotot Dwarf mix. She's tiny and adorable and fragile. Melissa came to us from a breeder after she was dumped with them and they noticed something was wrong with her. Melissa has a deformed leg from an injury that did not heal correctly when she was a baby or young bun. Melissa needs a family that is ready for a bun that is a bit more needy than usual. With her leg she doesn't get around very well on slick floors. Melissa needs a family that will be extra careful with her as well. She will NOT go to a home with small children as she's more fragile than your typical bun with her old injury. Melissa would also prefer a home where any other pets are very gentle and not hyper. Melissa wouldn't mind another bun in her forever home. She is very interested in the other buns here at the rescue.
