Max's Story

Max was dumped by the woman who was supposed to care for him, and a kind wonderful lady took him in and has been caring for him but truly needs to find Max a forever home as she is also caring for several individuals with developmental issues plus her mom who has dementia.  So we are hoping someone will come along who wants a wonderful, friendly bunny named Max.  Max is about 4 years old, is neutered, and doesn't mind being picked up.  He's pretty good with his litter habits, but once in awhile will have an accident on a pee-pad (washable).  He loves apples, pea pods, romaine lettuce, carrots, celery, and occasionally a bit of banana and fresh broccoli. He also LOVES his vitamin C treats.  He has toys, but doesn't play with them much, however he does love his grass house. Max will come with his grass house, some washable pee-pads (various sizes), some Oxbow hay and food.  We are hoping to switch him to Small Pet Select hay in hopes he will eat more of it. Max has had to have his teeth worked on twice at Belton Animal Clinic, but he is OH SO WORTH IT!!!  If you'd like to adopt Max, please contact the Missouri House Rabbit Society in Kansas City. www.mohrs.org
