Matzah Ball's Story
Matzah Ball is a 5 y/o mini lop mix who fully identifies as a squishmallow.

Up till 2026 he was a spoiled house bunny who ruled the home, and it shows. He's litter box trained, incredibly friendly, socialized, and loves being part of his family's daily routine.

Like many lop breeds, Matzah Ball was affected by dental disease (malocclusion) due to the brachycephalic shape of his head, which causes the teeth to misalign and overgrow. His previous family managed this with monthly dental trims, but because anesthesia always carries risk, he underwent surgery with us to have his incisors removed.

He is recovering beautifully and thriving, with just a few simple adjustments. He eats hay on his own, though longer strands may need to be cut. His greens and veggies should be chopped into smaller pieces, and pellets are best scatter-fed or offered in a snuffle mat to prevent choking.

(A small price to pay for no baseboard chewing or furniture destruction.)
