MATILDA's Story

Meet Matilda! Matilda is a 2 year old female rabbit who is looking for a calm forever home. She can be a little shy at first but with patience and some yummy treats she is sure to warm up! We will need to approve a photo of the enclosure you have for Matilda prior to pick up. Rabbits are social animals who do best in pairs--it would be great for Matilda to have a friend at home! Animal Rescue League of Boston's Adoption Policy

We require the following as part of the adoption process: - We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirement. - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older - A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird - Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier to bring home all adopted cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, and other small animals or birds of a larger size. All ARL Animal Care & Adoption centers offer new travel carriers for sale ($35 – $40 depending on size), along with gently used carriers, as supplies last ($10).
