Marigold's Story

Marigold (aka Mari) is a GREAT bunny who makes us laugh and smile daily!! It is imperative to know she is 100% free to roam and will not do well in a cage, ever. She is slow to warm up to new people and anything but a cuddle bug, but she enjoys spending time around her people and will accept head and ear pats/rubs- on her terms! She is a bit of a diva!

Mari is great with a spunky cat of the same size and age, and happy to spend time with our loaf of a senior dog (who has recently passed). While she has met another bunny, she is better as an only bunny. She is still a bit protective of her hay and can become aggressive to protect it so an experienced bunny owner and no small children may be best for this diva. Because she is so demonstrative, she has been known to jump into the guinea pig habitat and eat their pellets and hay. She is not overly interested in playing with the pigs-- she just wants their food!

During the day and at night she sleeps under the dining table or under my bed. If she is starving and a bit past her desired eating time in the morning, she'll jump on my face. Did we mention she's a bit of a diva? She loves her nightly veggie plate.

Marigold has a huge personality, great potty habits, and is an all around great bunny!

If you are looking for a fun, active and opinionated new friend- she's your girl!
