Marbles's Story
Marbles is a sweet, curious bunny who is looking for a calm, quiet forever home with someone willing to be patient and earn his trust. Hes definitely on the shy and skittish side, especially around loud noises and new people or places, but once he feels comfortable, his playful and curious personality really starts to shine.

Marbles loves to explore and play once he feels safe. He enjoys gentle forehead and back pets: especially when treats are involved! He's not a fan of being picked up, but will settle once he's safely in your hands. Because he may try to jump when being put down, he should always be released close to the ground. Tunnels, hideaways, and cozy places to retreat are a must for him: they help him feel secure and give him a quiet place to nap. He loves chew toys of all kinds, including cardboard, wicker, and seagrass. Toys frequently end up in his water bowl, so waterproof options like stacking cups are a big hit. He has great litter habits when his litter box is placed EXACTLY where he wants it! He can be territorial with pooping when other bunnies are nearby. Marbles may do well with calm, older children. A bunny companion may be possible after he tries a couple bunny dates.

Marbles has megacolon, so his diet needs to stay low in sugar and high in fiber. His diet consists of pellets, hay, and occasional fresh herbs such as mint or basil. His adopter will need to be committed to maintaining his dietary needs and watching his health carefully. Food is LIFE to Marbles. He can get a little hangry and may get nippy in his excitement but he's getting better as he gets more comfortable. He's a great hay eater and enjoys Oxbow Adult pellets and LOVES Science Selective puffed pellets.

Marbles is looking for someone special: a patient person who understands that there's no better reward than earning the trust and love of a bunny!
