Mara's Story
Mara was rescued outside with several other bunnies after they were abandoned outside by their previous owner. Mara was found emaciated, pregnant, and unable to keep her balance. Over the past few months Mara has gained necessary weight and muscle, which has significantly improved her balance issues. Mara still wobbles when she walks, but she doesn't let it slow her down. Mara is curious, independent, and so strong. She is sweet, outgoing, and has such a love for life. We think Mara would be a great candidate for a bond with another bunny.

Mara's wobbling is suspected to be residual neurological issues from being malnourished/dehydrated or from past physical trauma. She doesn't know she's any different, though, and just needs a slightly adapted space to keep her safe.
