Meet Maisie and Skittles

Maisie and Skittles are a lovely bonded pair whose personalities complement each other. Maisie is a gentle New Zealand White with an easy-going temperament. She is very trusting and affectionate. She'll follow you around and ask for more ear rubs by nudging your feet and legs, so watch where you step! Offer her some watermelon, dill or the occasional banana slice and she will literally be eating out of your hands. She's content to sit beside you on the couch or floor, sometimes even taking it upon herself to lie down on your lap for some rest and relaxation.

Skittles is more reserved and requires a little extra time to earn his trust. He's more confident and reassured in the presence of his loyal companion. He takes his lead from Maisie, so if she loves you, he will, too! He can often be found meticulously grooming Maisie's ears or chewing on his toilet paper roll toys and cardboard boxes. He's more comfortable with all four feet on the ground but enjoys the occasional ear massage if it's paired with some parsley.

These two buns hold a very special place in their former owner's heart, who sadly had to surrender them to us due to a family member's asthma.
