Lucy's Story

Have you ever seen a more gorgeous Californian? Lucy isn't only blessed with good looks, she has good luck as well. She and many other buns were originally intended to be religious sacrifices on Santeria. After the township stopped her previous "owners" from practicing, they dumped all their rabbits outdoors in horrible winter weather. Lucy and all the other survivors were brought in to the Brigade and are now ready to find their forever homes.

Despite her rough beginnings, the only sign of what Lucy has been through is the "70" tattoo in her ear. This girl is as sweet of a rabbit as can be. She's one of what we call our puppy buns - extremely friendly, always wants attention, and loves nothing more than being by your side. She would have every reason to be terrified and unwilling to trust humans, but instead this good natured girl loves everyone. Are you willing to be Lucy's best friend and make sure that the rest of her life isn't nearly as fraught with danger as her beginning?

All potential adopters are carefully screened so that we can ensure our rabbits are placed only in the safest of homes. If you're interested in adopting, please copy and paste the following link in order to fill out our pre-screening application:

bunnybrigadepa.com/adoption-application

We ask that you do not send multiple messages and allow our volunteers up to a week to respond. Thank you for your support and understanding!
