Lucy's Story
Come meet this beautiful rabbit and other adoptable rabbits at our next monthly adoption event!

If you need more information about rabbits or would like to attend an adoption event, see the information below.

Come meet all of our fabulous foster rabbits! Because we do not have a shelter to introduce our foster rabbits and our volunteers have limited time to respond to all online inquiries, the best way to meet one of our rabbits is to attend our next adoption day. Sometimes people bond to a different rabbit in person than the one they choose online.

All rabbits are spayed/neutered (age permitting) and litter box trained. All rabbits are to be adopted to indoor homes only.

Current bunny parents are encouraged to bring their rabbits to adoption clinics if they are interested in adopting a companion rabbit. Your rabbit must be spayed or neutered to be eligible to meet one of our fosters. SHRS volunteers will be happy to help your bunny through that feisty first date.

Everyone is welcome to stop by for conversation, problem-solving and free information!Adoption, Information, Fur and Nail Trimming Clinics:The second Saturday of each month we rotate between the following Petcos from 10:00 am and 3:00 pm (check our calendar to find our where we will be next!):
Arden Petco, 1878 Arden Way, (916) 923-1082
Fair Oaks Petco, 8840 Madison Ave., (916) 863-7387
Citrus Heights Petco, 6067 Greenback Lane, (916) 725-2556

*We are always prepared to trim nails during adoption day. If your bunny has matted fur, call our bunny line in advance (916-863-9690) to make arrangements for a fur makeover. Donations of $10 are appreciated!

The Sacramento House Rabbit Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and finding loving homes for abandoned and unwanted rabbits. HRS is also committed to educating people about the unique nature and proper care of these wonderful, intelligent companion animals.
