Lily & Luca

Hi! We are Lily & Luca. We are the cutest sweetest pair. We were rescued when we were tiny babies from the local county shelter when we came in with another sick rabbit from an overbreeding situation. We were tiny little babies and had a lot of growing and changing to do. We were able to stay together as a pair through Luca’s neuter and Lily’s spay and we did a lot of growing and changing. Now that we are spayed and neutered, we are ready for our “forever home.” Of course we know how cute we are, but we are looking for a home that isn’t just interested because of our looks- we want something forever. We never want to be in the same situation we found ourselves in when we were babies. <br/><br/>We grew into stunning rabbits. We are curious, silly, and a little bit destructive too. Our foster mom is always coming up with a new fun cardboard tunnels for us that we deconstruct. We live in an exercise pen set up with time out to explore every day. We like to examine every corner and then we’ll eventually flop down when we are tired. We are great eaters and amazing with our litterbox habits. We do have some extra fur because we are part lionhead, but aside from it occasionally getting caught in some fluffy paper litter, we don’t need any extensive grooming. We are very, very curious and love to climb on your legs, but we can be a little hand shy at times. Lily is a bit braver and Luca usually isn’t far behind. Like we mentioned above, we would love a home that has a nice big exercise pen and that gives us plenty of space to explore outside of there daily. Since we have each other, our need for human interaction isn’t as much. Since we are a little on the shy side, loud kids would overwhelm us. Most of all, we are looking for a place we can be together forever with someone who loves us unconditionally! <br/><br/>P.S. Flip back through the photos to see us as babies!
