Lilly / Piper

Our adoption process is Application, Review, Foster, Adopt.  First you need to fill out our foster or adoption application on our website http://www.tbhrr.org/.  Then we review it, discuss it with you further, and provide you with a beginning rabbit education through our Bunny Basics class.  (The class is free, and we do this for everyone, even prior rabbit owners, as some of what you might have learned previously could have changed with more recent understanding of bunny biology.)  Then we ask you to fill out our foster contract and actually foster the rabbit for a month or two; this is to ensure that you like the bunny's personality and learn that rabbit's behavior (and the rabbit learns your household routine), and you get some practice caring for the rabbit without the risk of taking full ownership.  Assuming everything works out, then we formalize the adoption through our adoption contract.  For a single rabbit, the adoption fee is $75, and a bonded pair is $110.  If things don't work out, then we help you select another rabbit if you want. We invite you to follow us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/TBHouseRabbitRescue, which is where we post the latest updates regarding our rescue.
