Liam's Story

Sweet little Liam was found by the side of the highway with a broken leg at only 6 months old. He was incredibly fortunate to have been found when he was, and brought to our rescue to undergo surgery at the University of Illinois. He has healed very well, but his future family will need to keep an eye on that leg for any further complications.

Despite his very dramatic entry into the rescue, he is actually a pretty mellow guy. He loves to be pet and have his people hang out on the floor with him. He is tolerant of being held for short periods, and his favorite activity is running around the living room at night.

Liam has amazing litter habits and would love lots of playtime or even being a free roam bunny. He enjoys the company of calm dogs, but barking does startle him. He likely wouldn't mind cats, and does great with kids who can let him come to them. He takes time to warm up, but is a very sweet little boy!

If you are interested in adopting Liam, visit our page for more information at www.iowarabbitrescue.org/adopt
