Leo's Story

Say hello to Leo, a sweet mixed-breed bunny with a curious personality and a heart full of love!

Leo is estimated to have been born in February 2026 and currently weighs about 4 lbs, though he’s still growing. He came into rescue after being found abandoned in a dog carrier with another young rabbit.

Leo can be a little shy when you first meet him, but once he decides you’re one of his people, his gentle personality really shines. He’s a calm, curious, and loving bunny who enjoys exploring his surroundings and getting to know his humans.

Give Leo some space to explore and he’ll happily keep himself busy! He loves scouting out new hideouts, doing zoomies around the room, and turning his cardboard houses into his latest interior-design project. He’s happiest when he has room to roam, toys to investigate, and plenty of enrichment to keep his clever bunny brain busy.

When the adventures are over, Leo is more than happy to settle down beside his favorite people for some relaxing time and well-deserved head scratches.

Leo is looking for:
- A home with plenty of space to roam and exercise
- Lots of toys, enrichment, and opportunities to explore
- Patient humans who will give him time to feel comfortable and build trust
- Plenty of quality time and gentle interaction
- A loving family committed to giving him a safe and happy forever home

Leo may take a little time to come out of his shell, but once he knows you’re his person, you’ll get to see what a wonderful bunny he truly is. Because of this, we feel Leo would do well in a home with adults or older children (13+) who are experienced and respectful with animals.

Could you be Leo’s forever family? Leo's adoption fee is $150. Adopters must be at least 18 years old.
