Lee's Story

Lee is a soft, sensitive bunny who’s still discovering that humans can be kind and safe. He may be shy at first, but he truly tries his best to be brave every single day. You’ll often spot him peeking around a corner, stretching his tiny nose forward or quietly observing the world from a cozy, safe spot. He wants to be confident… he just needs a patient, gentle human who will let him blossom at his own pace.

Lee would absolutely thrive with a bunny friend. He will likely gain comfort and courage from other rabbits and would love a companion to guide, encourage and help him feel secure.

One thing that stands out about Lee is his exceptional litter habits. This boy is incredibly tidy and makes caring for him wonderfully easy.
Lee may not be the bun who hops into your lap right away, but he is the bun who rewards your patience with the sweetest, most genuine trust. If you’re looking for a gentle soul to love and you have the compassion to let him grow in his own time, Lee just might be the perfect match for you… and the sweetest new friend for your resident bunny.

Lee came from a home that initially had two rabbits that quickly multiplied. His original owner became overwhelmed and let the rabbits run around outside, which is how/when the dumped bunny group got involved.

Several rabbit rescuers came together to help the situation by taking the females and setting up pens in the home to separate the males until rescue was found. It took several months, but the last of the rabbits finally found rescue.

We only adopt to homes that will allow free roam and/or exercise pens. No cages!

Interested in adopting?
