Kohlrabi and Kabocha's Story
Meet Kohlrabi and Kabocha! These two fluffy girls have had a really tough life so far, and we are eager for them to relax into the house rabbit lifestyle!

These girls were strays in a large colony of rabbits, and have likely had litters of their own. They are now spayed and starting to warm up to people. They came to us significantly underweight, but luckily they love to eat so we are sure they will be at a healthy weight soon with lots of healthy snacks and spoiling! They LOVE treats which is the best way to bond with them.

While shy, they do like to be pet on the head, and tolerate nail trims well. Their favorite activities are chewing on toys, playing in their cardboard houses, and munching on hay...they LOVE their hay! They also like the baked Oxbow mint and cranberry treats.

Their litter box habits are about 80%, and since they are bonded two litter boxes would be best. They aren't fans of dogs, but may get along well with cats. They do tolerate male bunnies but do NOT like other females.

These beautiful girls are looking for someone who is patient with them, who will feed them lots of yummy foods, and someone who can show them how to be spoiled little house bunnies!! If that might be you, please fill out an adoption application at www.iowarabbitrescue.org/adopt.
