Jupiter's Story
Hi everyone, my name is Jupiter and wow do I have a story to tell you. I was brought to the rescue by a man caught on the rescues ring camera trying to dump me in my litterbox and leave. Someone was home and his plan was foiled. He carried me from his car that had out of state license plates in my litterbox and was going to put me on the porch and leave. When confronted the story was I was purchased by his sister who had sadly recently passed in a car accident, and no one was interested in caring for me. After what occurred we do not know if this story is accurate but that is what we are going with. When asked how he found our home as we do not post our address online, he said the local animal shelter provided him with it.

We originally gave her the name Mercedes however when taken to the vet for a checkup and to be spayed to our surprise we found out she is he and already neutered. Thankfully our vet was able to see the scar and this poor bun was not operated on unnecessarily. So because of the gender error we have changed the name from Mercedes to Jupiter.

Jupiter is quite confused after all he has been through, and we do not know how he was living previously but he is settling in finally. He has great litterbox habits but is definitely terrified of being picked up. He does love gentle petting and will run to you if you are giving him any type of treats from romaine, carrot tops, banana, apple carrot etc this boy does not like to miss a meal.

He may be a great bonding candidate for the right spayed female searching for a mate.

Jupiter is still a bit overweight and weighs about 6 1/2 lbs. A quieter home with not too much upheaval and chaos would probably be best for him.

Would you consider opening your heart and home to a sweet misgendered guy like him?

.
