Meet Juniper! Juniper is a young female rabbit who was recently surrendered to our Marathon Campus. Oftentimes we hear the same, or similar story when it comes down to why rabbits enter our shelter. Purchased or gifted as a cute young bunny for a child, parents quickly realize how much work a pet rabbit actually is and are unprepared to provide a growing rabbit the proper food, housing and/or enrichment that they need. Juniper is one of those rabbits. <br/><br/>Now in our care, she's been spayed and ready for a new family! Juniper has a unique coat color and pattern that reminds us of a Siamese cat. She's a beautiful bunny! Rabbits are very social creatures, so she may be a good companion for a home with another rabbit, as long as it's a good fit. As a single rabbit her family would just have to be sure to give her plenty of extra love and attention. <br/><br/>Rabbits are wonderful companion animals. They can be litter boxed trained, just like a cat, and love to free roam (safely) in a home.
