Jolene's Story

This beautiful cinnamon-colored bun was wandering about outside as a stray near UCF. Fortunately, she was brought to safety by a concerned citizen before any harm could befall her. Her foster home named her Carby at the same time that the Rabbit Registrar at ORCA named her Jolene - Jolene/Carby likes both names and will be happy to discuss permanent name selection with her adopter(s). Jolene is now a proper indoor bunny and is very happy about her house rabbit status. She is sweet and quiet, she has excellent litter box habits, and she is happy to sit and cuddle with you for a very long time. She is intrigued with the (gentle and well-behaved) dog in her foster home and loves to watch him.

Jolene's favorite activity is creating art by chewing on interesting materials. She will need a steady supply of willow baskets, apple twigs, untreated wood, Timothy grass mats and other bunny-safe items to satisfy her chewing ambitions and discourage inappropriate chewing on things like baseboards and chair legs. She is a neat and clean bunny with a sweet disposition and is seeking a permanent house rabbit position with just the right family!

We adopt to indoor homes only! If you are interested in adopting a bunny from Orlando Rabbit Care and Adoptions, or would like more information on rabbit care, please visit our website at: http://www.orlandorabbit.org. The first step in our adoption process is to complete an adoption application, which can be found here: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/55856/generic . Then one of our volunteers will reach out to you via email to schedule a time to speak with you. If you don't see the email in a day or two, please check your spam folder.

Our Adoption Fee/Donation for a single rabbit is $100, a pair is $170, and a triple is $200. This helps to offset the cost of having the rabbits altered, microchipped and vaccinated, as well as any medical care that may have been required.
