English Spots are known for their curious, social, and lively personalities, and John Snow shows all of those qualities. He is confident, people‑focused, and full of playful charm — a true “main character” bunny. After spending a year waiting at another local shelter, John Snow has now come to Vancouver to continue his search for a forever home. Since his arrival, he’s been a bit quieter and more subdued, which is completely normal for a rabbit settling into a new environment. With time, routine, and gentle interaction, we expect that his bright, outgoing personality will shine through again. John Snow is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and reliably litter box trained. Training & Support John Snow will benefit from having a variety of enrichment items such as tunnels, chew toys, hideouts, and safe areas to explore, as these will keep him mentally stimulated and engaged. He will also need time and space to settle into new environments at his own pace, which will help him feel safe and build confidence gradually. Consistent positive interactions will support him as he continues adjusting to his new surroundings. Please note, in order to create a calm environment for our adoptable animals, we use appointment system for viewings. This ensures that the animals are not stressed out by having too many visitors, and that our potential adopters are well-served by our Animal Care Attendants. How to Adopt a Pet: Step 1 - View the pets available online and fill in an adoption application form (see link below). Step 2 - Email the application form to: animal.shelter@vancouver.ca Step 3 - If you're a match, we will email you to arrange a viewing appointment. If you're coming to view a dog, please note the following: You will be able to take it for a walk at the viewing appointment. When you visit, please bring everyone who lives in the home, including children. If you already own a dog, you'll need to bring them too. Please let our staff know if advance if you have another dog, as we will need to be adequately prepared for a dog meet-up.
