MEET JAVA THE BEAN! We will need to see a photo of the enclosure you plan to house Java the Bean in prior to adoption. Java the Bean has been seen by our vet team and is neutered. For more information on JABBA THE BUN or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please feel free to stop by one of our Animal Care and Adoption Center locations during open hours or call us at 617-426-9170. The Animal Care and Adoption Center is open Tuesday 2:00pm to 6:00pm by appointment only and Wednesday through Sunday from 1:00pm-6:00pm, excluding some holidays. Our Adoption Forward process starts with a visit to one of our Animal Care and Adoption Centers. Animal Rescue League of Boston's Adoption Policy

We require the following as part of the adoption process: - We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirement. - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older - A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird - Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier to bring home all adopted cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, and other small animals or birds of a larger size. All ARL Animal Care & Adoption centers offer new travel carriers for sale ($35 – $40 depending on size), along with gently used carriers, as supplies last ($10).
