Jace (Waukesha area foster home)'s Story

Jace is such a fun companion. It only took him a few hours to come out of his shell the day he arrived, and after that, he fit into the family like he'd been here for years. He's an extremely well-behaved little gentleman who uses the litter box great (aside from the occasional rogue cocoa puff) and is genuinely excited to spend time with people.
He's athletic, curious, and we call him The Shadow because he follows us everywhere, always hoping for a pet or a treat. He hops onto the couch to watch movies with us and cruises confidently across the hardwood floor. He's polite, not a chewer or a digger so far, and he loves being part of whatever we're doing.
Every time we pass his pen, he rushes over to greet us. He's always thrilled for free-roam time, has a healthy appetite, and absolutely loves his veggies. He's very food-motivated and smart, so I'm sure he'd learn tricks quickly if you wanted to train him. He's gentle with his mouth, too.
He's energetic and so excited about life that it's honestly hard to get a picture of him. He wants to do everything with you, from cooking to chores to just hanging out. He's truly a delight, and I'm confident he'll find his forever home quickly because he's such an awesome companion. We'll definitely be sad to see him go. He's just the sweetest.
He prefers light pets on his back and will happily crawl right into your lap. He's not a big cuddler yet, but he loves being right beside you. And he gives lots of smooches!
Jace came from a horrible hoarding/neglect situation in Juneau County.
When you adopt Jace you will also receive a free copy of House Rabbit Handbook: How To Live With An Urban Rabbit as well as a free 1-year membership to the Wisconsin House Rabbit Society.
