Huxley's Story

Huxley came to WHRS from a neglect situation where he and several other rabbits were not being cared for properly. He was very scared and shy when he arrived, but his personality has bloomed into a friendly, curious rabbit who enjoys being pet. Huxley loves food, so it should be easy to bribe your way into his heart.<br/><br/>Huxley is litter box trained, neutered, microchipped and vaccinated against RHDV. Wisconsin House Rabbit Society's Adoption Policy
As part of our adoption contract all rabbits must be kept indoors where they are safe from predators and parasites or diseases. The first step in the process is to fill out and submit our adoption application. Once reviewed you will be contacted by phone and a time to meet requested rabbit(s) will be set up. We generally do not do same day adoptions unless you are approved prior. The approval process involves a home inspection either in person or through photos/video sent to us. Once your set up is approved we will proceed with the adoption.
