Hazelnut's Story

Meet Hazelnut, a handsome 4-year-old Dwarf mix who is as clever as his name suggests! With his warm, latte-colored coat and curious personality, this little guy is one smart cookie—or should we say, one smart hazelnut?

Hazelnut is an independent bunny who enjoys exploring his surroundings and being part of the action. He loves weaving between his foster’s feet as they walk around and is always curious about what’s going on. While he enjoys interacting with his people, he isn’t particularly interested in pets and snuggles. And when it’s time to be picked up? Hazelnut has a clever strategy: hop away! He’s much happier keeping his feet on the ground and doing his own thing.

Hazelnut has been enjoying free-roaming time in his foster home and has shown that he’s a very good house bunny. He reliably uses his litterbox for peeing, although he’s still working through some leftover hormones and occasionally leaves a few poops behind to make sure everyone knows this is his territory. His pen, however, is impressively tidy by morning!
