Happy's Story

About Happy
Happy is a young Flemish Giant mix, approximately 8 months old, and she truly lives up to her name—she’s cheerful, curious, and full of personality. Flemish Giants are often described as “dog-like” in their friendliness and intelligence, and they typically enjoy interacting with their people. Their easygoing nature makes them wonderful companions when given space, enrichment, and positive handling. Happy has shown herself to be brave, funny, and wonderfully social, and she’s likely to grow into a confident, engaging companion. She has been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Happy is also an excellent litter box user and keeps her space tidy. She’s been a very clean and polite house guest during her stay with us.

Training & Support
Rabbits benefit greatly from gentle socialization and enriching activities, and Happy is at a perfect age to continue learning. Providing her with tunnels, chews, toys, puzzle feeders, hideouts, and space to explore will help keep her happy and mentally stimulated. With patient, positive handling, she’ll continue to grow into a confident and well-adjusted rabbit.

Ideal Home
Happy would do best in a home that can provide:
- A quiet, predictable environment
- Indoor housing with safe space to hop, explore, and relax
- Daily enrichment to keep her curious mind engaged
- A family willing to offer gentle interaction and time to settle in

She may also do well with a calm rabbit companion, following proper bonding procedures.

Adoption Fee $50

If you're interested in adopting Happy, please enquire via this website, or email us directly at:

animal.shelter@vancouver.ca
