Grizzly's Story
Grizzly has been a work in progress since joining my foster home back in January. He came in very skeptical of any human interaction.
After a little bit of unwinding at his new foster home, he began to show signs of trust as well as a need of affection & quality time. He began to greet me at the edge of his pen in the mornings, asking politely for some kale topped with shredded carrots. This was a very welcomed change as before, he spent his days guarding the perimeter of his pen as well as any resources.
Over time I watched him come out of his shell which I must say had been very hardened by his past. It has been so much fun watching his personality blossom into the macho man that he is today. He is full of spunk & charisma but does still require some patience & steadiness in daily life to continue to progress so wonderfully.
No kids or older kids would be ok.
As far as pets… absolutely would not have him interact with another bunny. He is fine with my dogs and my cat AS LONG as they do not pay him any attention.
If they are too interested in him & get in his personal bubble, he will charge them & stand his ground as well as throw out some growls & harsh words lol.
To be honest though, it used to be worse and he has made a lot of progress.
When he first came to me there were at least two incidents where he was able to nip one of the dog’s noses through his pen and the sole reason was because they were just too close.
But now my kitty can walkover/roll on her belly at the edge of his pen & he will bounce over to sniff.

Link to Application: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/66539/generic
