Grace's Story

Meet Grace, a beautiful 6-year-old black and grey Lionhead rabbit with a soft coat and a gentle, thoughtful nature. Grace came to the shelter when her owner left for college, and through no fault of her own, she wasn’t getting the time and attention she truly deserves.

The transition to shelter life has been hard for Grace, but she’s been slowly finding her footing and showing us her resilience. With patience and consistency, she’s learning that good things—and good care—are here to stay.

Grace will do best with an experienced rabbit adopter who understands her needs. She requires regular eye cleaning and may occasionally need the fur around her eye trimmed to keep her comfortable. She’s also looking for someone committed to maintaining a healthy, rabbit-appropriate diet. She didn’t eat well when she first arrived, but with time and care, she’s adjusting and doing better each day.

Grace is a special girl who’s asking for a calm, knowledgeable home where she can feel safe, supported, and cherished. If you have rabbit experience and a big heart for a bunny who needs a little extra care, Grace may be the perfect companion for you.
