Jade Rabbit Small Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

Our adoption fee is $100 and $150 for a bonded pair. We require all rabbits to be housed indoors with a minimum living space of 4'x4'. All of our rabbits are vet checked, treated for fleas/mites, vaccinated against RHDV2 as well as spayed and neutered before adoption. Our adoption fee goes toward the cost of spay and neuter (which costs about $200-250 per rabbit). Spaying and neutering is important as it helps prevent the continual overpopulation of rabbits, decreases reproductive cancer, and helps with temperament and litter box training. Our adoption process consists of filling out an adoption application, meeting with an adoption coordinator for a quick interview, sending us a picture of your set up, and scheduling a time to meet our available rabbits. To ensure that all of our rabbits get adopted into loving homes, we adopt to approved homes only.

We aim to rescue neglected, abandoned, or surrendered rabbits with the goal to rehabilitate them and place them in loving forever homes. We are also devoted to promoting the welfare of domestic rabbits.
