My daughter, Sabrina and I found ourselves at Ghandi’s Refuge after our family decided we were making it too difficult to travel. It is for the best as the kids and dogs would torment us and any touch we received was rough and unkind. <br/><br/>As a result, I am wary of human hands. I am trying really hard to learn to trust people. I really like when they have cookies, that helps a lot.<br/><br/>My daughter and I didn’t even have names until we arrived at the Refuge. We must be adopted together. We would do best in a quiet home with no children or dogs. Someone understanding of our past who is willing to give us a safe place to enjoy life and allow interaction on our terms. <br/><br/> An added bonus if you have a nice little porch or deck that we could enjoy hanging out in while you enjoy a nice hot cup of tea or coffee. We really love being outside and enjoy fresh air and sunshine. <br/><br/>We were spayed December 6, 2025. There were several tumors found in my uterus that we believe were cancerous.
