Meet Gerry
Hi there! I'm an adorable guy who had a rough start in life. I was surrendered to a humane society in extremely poor condition. I was emaciated and my fur was one solid mat covered with urine. I was shaved bald and went to a foster home to recuperate. It took a long time for me to gain weight and grow my fur back. Now that I have I'm looking for a forever home.
I'm a friendly guy, but can be shy at first. I like to be pet when I can sit still, but am not a fan of being picked up. I'm a busy body and love to explore while running around outside my cage. My favorite hobbies are chewing apart cardboard boxes, tossing my toys into my water bowl and doing big bunny flops when I'm tired and relaxed. Oh, and I love veggies!
Part of what makes me so adorable is my fuzzy angora fur. It's beautiful and soft when groomed regularly, but it mats easily and requires constant grooming. Please make sure you have the time to groom me properly before you take me home, because I never want my fur to be in a solid mat ever again.
I am neutered and litter box trained. Please go to rabbit..org to learn how to care for me. Then contact the Wisconsin House Rabbit Society if you're interested in adopting me!
If you adopt me you will receive a free copy of The House Rabbit Handbook: How To Live With An Urban Rabbit.
