Gatsby's Story

INDOOR ONLY HOMES PLEASE!

Gatsby was rescued on New Year’s Eve 2021 from living on the streets of downtown Riverside! We were tipped off about his plight by a good Samaritan.

Gatsby is adorably cute! The most remarkable thing about him is how loud and fast he chatters his teeth when you pet his head! It’s like his mouth is in overdrive simulating the old kid’s toy Clackers! He must be in heaven now that he’s no longer fending for himself!

He’s acclimated well since his rescue. He’s a fun and frisky bunny. He will snuggle in your arms for oodles of love and head rubs! He’s a hotot mix with a few black spots on his back. His right eye is half brown and half blue (heterochromia).

Gatsby enjoys his pen neighbors here at the rescue so he may want a female friend. He’s a docile, submissive, easygoing bun just waiting for someone to scoop him up and take him home.

Gatsby needs to live indoors either: 1) free roaming, 2) in a room or a section of a room, or 3) in an x-pen enclosure or homemade DIY wire grid system. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it.

Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit.

Gatsby can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. Delivery is also available to the greater southern California area. His adoption fee is $60 which covers his neuter surgery cost. Any additional donations to keep the rescue afloat are greatly appreciated.

BENEFITS OF ADOPTION FROM KRIBS FOR KRITTERS RABBIT RESCUE:

* Lifetime free nail trims and scent gland cleaning
* Unparalleled rabbit education before you adopt
* Ongoing support after you adopt
* Starter hay and toys
* Reasonably priced boarding when you're on vacation

Don't have the items you need to welcome a bunny to your home?
