FOSTER A HUG-A-BUNNY!'s Story

ATTENTION POTENTIAL FOSTER HOMES! **Please note that the rabbits in these photos have since been adopted!**

Please consider opening up your heart and home to a rescued rabbit. Since we do not have a physical location, we depend on foster homes to literally save the lives of rabbits who are in harm's way. Many of them are from local shelters, but our rabbits also come from personal surrenders and many come directly off the streets after being released to fend for themselves (can you believe it???). Our foster homes play an important role in rehabilitating our rescued rabbits and literally help us save lives. All of our rescued rabbits are treated like family members until they find their permanent, loving homes, and their foster homes take the credit for helping them heal their emotional wounds and start a fresh new life! We ask that our foster homes commit to a full cycle for each rabbit they foster, in keeping them longterm if needed while they look for their "forever home." Many of our foster homes are willing to take in a new rabbit as soon as their last gets adopted, while others foster for just one time. Either way, you will quite literally save a life! We are looking for serious, longterm commitments and to commit to the foster cycle of a rescued rabbit.

In order to help you get prepared, we set you up with an exercise pen enclosure, litterbox, water bowl, ceramic bowls for pellets and greens, as well as supplies for the first month. This includes food, hay, and bedding. We ask that our foster homes provide our rabbits with dark leafy greens daily, at least 1-2 hours of running time out of their cage/exercise pen, and TONS of love. Many of the rabbits on our website already have foster homes, but there's a possibility that a few of them need foster homes right now! Plus, we're always looking to help save rabbits from our local shelters and can only do so when a foster home opens up. Emergencies always pop up! Please email us to see who might be a good fit for you! We have a long waiting list and depend on new foster homes to help out the ones who are waiting to be rescued. We are always looking to rescue rabbits out of shelters, and you might be the miracle they need to start over! However, we are only looking for serious foster homes who can commit to helping out rabbits. We do have a foster application to be completed before we can consider you as a foster home. Please email us at hugabunny@gmail.com! Thank you!

***Please note- all of the rabbits in the photos for this listing have been adopted!

Sponsor a Hug-a-Bunny!

Please email Hug-a-Bunny Rabbit Rescue, Inc. at hugabunny@gmail.com for inquiries about the beautiful rabbits in our care. Hug-a-Bunny Rabbit Rescue, Inc. adopts to indoor homes only. We will contact you shortly!
