Forever in Our Care: Harvey and Candy's Story
"Forever in Our Care" means that these two are permanent foster bunnies. Harvey and Candy were surrendered to BunnyPeople in early summer 2018 because their owners could no longer afford to continue caring for them. This is the second time Harvey has been surrendered to BunnyPeople; he was a single rabbit then, but he is now bonded to Candy.

Both rabbits have medical issues. Harvey has had a rectal papiloma for years; there is a 25% chance it could become cancerous, but it can't be removed due to its location. He also has poor enamel on his lower teeth, probably due to poor nutrition early in life.

Candy has has serious issues with pneumonia, requiring a difficult schedule of medications. Candy also has bouts of diarrhea, which can be life-threatening.

Although Harvey and Candy are not available for adoption, you can sponsor some of their care using Petfinder's "Sponsor Me" button. Thank you!
