Florida's Story

Florida was a stray bun turned in to Companion Animal Alliance (EBR shelter). He came to MHRR in April 2024. We believe he was born around Feb 2024 as he still had lots of baby fur at intake (baby photo below!). He uses the litter box well, and is VERY curious & bold! He goes right up to big dogs (through fences) when they walk by his playpen. He loves to get petted but can be iffy in his space sometimes. He is definitely not the type to sit around all day and be ignored - he wants to play and he wants to see what you're up to!
Spay/neuter: 5/3/24Fecal test: neg 5/3/24Last weight: 4lbsMedgene RHDV2 vaccine dates: 6/4/25, original boosters 5/6/24 & 6/3/24
This pet is fostered in Baton Rouge, LA. Pet availability updated daily. For more information on rabbit care along with our housing/care/bunny proofing recommendations visit our website at MagicHappensRescue.com/WelcomeToRabbits All MHRR rabbits are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and fecal tested/treated for parasites. Adoption fees are $100 for single bunnies or $150 for already-paired rabbits, which includes spay/neuter, microchip & registration, vaccines & fecal-testing/deworming.
