Fig's Story

Fig is one of the friendliest bunnies we have ever had at the Shelter. He has the cutest face and very unique markings. He is a large rabbit and weighs 8 1/2 pounds. He loves to be petted and receive attention. When he’s out of his cage, he will follow you around like a dog. He’s very interested in his surroundings and loves to explore. He is only a year old and needs a new home because his owner was no longer able to care for him. He loves his salads and hopping around doing binkies. His litter box habits are very good, and we expect them to improve further once he adjusts to eating more hay, which wasn't part of his diet before he came into our care.

Rabbits are active, gentle pets that are happiest and healthiest when they have a large clean cage, lots of play time out of their cage, and plenty of fresh hay and veggies daily. All of the Medfield Shelter's bunnies are indoor pets and would not do well outside in a hutch. If you are interested in adopting a rabbit from our shelter, please fill out our adoption application on this page:
http://www.medfieldshelter.com/adopt
