Fergus's Story
*This bunny is fully vaccinated for RHDV**
Breed: Dutch
Size: Around 5 lbs
DOB: About 2 years old as of July 2026
Reason in rescue: Fergus came here from another shelter with a group of other buns that needed a safe place to land! We got him vaccinated and now hes ready to find a home!
Personality: Fergus is a very sweet boy who has been through a lot prior to coming to us. He was at another shelter and at some point in life he more than likely got an ear infection which has caused a permanent head tilt. AND when he arrived here, he had a big lump on his nose. We took him to our vet who diagnosed him with a Fibroma and removed it from his nose! He is good to go and shouldnt have any other problems in the future. Fergus is a very sweet boy who can be a little flinchy when you first go to pet him but is learning he is safe here! He loves a good back scritch and is learning to accept pets on his head and ears. Because of his head tilt, low sided litter boxes for him, and lots of grace while he learns a new location and routine would be perfect! Hes a very good boy!
Friends: He is a good candidate to be bonded to a spayed female.
Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2' for a single, 4 x 4 for a pair). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption (but can be waived if pictures or video are supplied of where the bunny will be living). Suggested adoption donation is $70 which includes his neuter, vaccine, and microchip.
