ELLIE

Ellie is a young female lionhead. She was left at the door of the shelter along with her 4 babies that were roughly 10 days old in September 2025. She raised her babies who have moved on to their forever home. She has been spayed and is ready to find her loving forever home now. Ellie is friendly and outgoing. She can be a little fearful but comes around quickly. She loves racing around doing binkies and also a gentle cuddle with her human. Ellie was a good Mom but once the babies matured she was still very protective of them and would herd them whenever she was anxious. She seemed calmer and happier once she was away from them. She is very interested in other rabbits and may like a bunny friend. Ellie is healthy with an excellent appetite. She grazes on timothy hay all day and receives pellets and a salad once a day. She loves treats and will take them right from your hand. We don't recommend small children with Ellie because she could scratch them and may bite if she is scared.
