Elizabunth's Story

Hi, my name is Elizabunth! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Affectionate once comfortable, curious, active
-Can Live With Kids: Yes - although an adult should be Elizabunth's primary caretaker.
-Experienced Rabbit Home: Not required, but would be beneficial to have some knowledge of rabbit care prior to adoption.
-Energy Level: Medium
-Can Live With Other Rabbits: Likely ok - slow/supervised introductions always recommended!
-Litter Box Trained: Unsure
-Bite History: No
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, spay/MC

Meet Elizabunth - a young, curious rabbit looking for her forever home! Elizabunth and a few other rabbits were transferred in from Tacoma Humane Society from a home with several other rabbits, so she may enjoy the company of another bun friend. She can be a bit skittish at first, but warms up quickly. We think that with an appropriate enclosure, enrichment to keep her occupied, and plenty of room to explore, Elizabunth will make a great companion. She'll need unlimited grass hay, high quality rabbit pellets, and fresh greens daily to ensure she stays happy and healthy. If you're interested in adopting Elizabunth, please fill out an application!

***PROOF OF ENCLOSURE REQUIRED FOR ADOPTION***

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website (www.whatcomhumane.org/adopt) or in person at our facility. We recommend calling into the shelter after your application has been submitted so our front desk can give you next steps on our adoption process.
