Eli's Story
Eli - The Discarded Christmas Bunny

Once upon a recent Christmas, a tiny girl unwrapped a big surprise: a soft black bunny with velvet ears and gentle eyes. His name was Eli. For a few days, her laughter and excitement filled the house as Eli was held and cuddled.
But soon, the novelty wore off. Eli was asked to leave the little girl’s room.
The family had dogs. So Eli, still just a baby himself, was put outside — away from family, away from love. Days turned into months, and Eli sat forgotten, longing for someone to remember he was there.
Then, one day, kindness arrived. Rescuers brought Eli to safety.
Now, Eli is about two years old and weighs eight pounds—a gentle giant, part French Lop and part English Lop, with long ears and an even longer list of reasons to love him. He’s neutered, litterbox trained, and as sweet as spun sugar.
Despite all he’s been through, Eli holds no grudges. He’s super chill, leaning into head rubs and softly nuzzling your hand as if to say, “Thank you for seeing me.” He loves to sprawl out comfortably, his big bunny body relaxed, his eyes half-closed in bliss.
All Eli wants is love—a real home where he’s never an afterthought, never pushed aside, never forgotten again.
Could you give Eli the forever miracle he’s still waiting for?
If you would like to make an appointment to meet Eli, contact Paisley's at
paisleysbunnyrescue@gmail.com.
